Roles in vCloud enviroment

Tenant Administrator​

Default role, provided to each tenant. Can manage users and groups in their organization and assign them roles, create and delete VM's, catalogs, templates.

Catalog Author​

Role allow a user to create and publish catalogs.

vApp Author​

Role allow a user to use catalogs and create vApps.

vApp User​

Role allow a user to use existing vApps.

Console Access Only​

Role allow a user to view virtual machine state and properties and to use the guest OS.

Customer is responsible for his own created user accounts, and assigned roles.

Read-only

Role for tenants, to have read only permisions for all tenant related items
